Not seeing the device you want in the device list? If you use an iPhone or iPad, make sure Spotify has access to your local network. Check in your iPhone/iPad settings under Spotify. The new Sonos app simply states you need to get a newer device, like an S1 Controller or Amp, which is a costly solution. Support documentation doesn’t really guide you through it either. But for some frustrating reason, my spotify connect frequently fails with Sonos. I want to expand on this. The issue I have is that even when I am on the same home network as my Sonos, I often do not see my Sonos speakers available as a Spotify Connect output. If i restart the Sonos speakers or wifi, it may come up for a couple days.

Note: If you can’t find your Sonos speaker in your Spotify Connect list of devices, update your Sonos speaker.

  2. Tap More, then Add Music Services.
  3. Select Spotify, then Add Account.
  4. Enter your Spotify account details.

Desktop

  1. Download and open the Sonos app.
  2. Click Add Music Services on the right and select Spotify.
  3. Click Next, then Add Account.
  4. Enter your Spotify account details.

Once you’ve linked your accounts, you can start playing! Connect wirelessly with Spotify Connect or Airplay. Control your tunes with the Spotify app, Sonos app, or with your voice using Alexa.

  4. Tap Remove Account.

  2. Select Manage, then Service Settings.
